Please read the full description of our Marketing/Design and HQ Internship and feel free to share it with your friends and family or anyone you think that may thrive by being in a room full of bright, hardworking entrepreneurs!

1.Marketing / Design Internship

City: Louisville

Interested in a great intern experience? We're looking to add an intern to our team!

Who we are:
At Level Up, we’re working to connect, educate and inspire women in their communities. We’re a quickly-growing startup based out of Louisville, KY and have big ambitions for helping women all across the US to connect with their passions, each other and their communities!

What we're looking for:
Spring Intern
Flexible schedule & hours for a 12-week internship beginning March 1st, 2018.

We take hiring seriously and are looking to add someone who can bring energy and excitement to the Level Up team. In this role you will:

  • Self-manage a project from start to finish to help us formalize our new Subscription boxes line including packaging design and distribution logistics.
  • Assist Director of Marketing with SEO daily duties
  • Assist director of marketing with Marketing Campaigns for new market launches in the Fall.
  • We’re not setting an exact number of hours for this role, but are anticipating your work to take 20 - 25 hours per week

Desired Traits & Qualifications:

  • Curiosity and excitement about business and entrepreneurship.
  • Strong design & marketing skills. We’ll have you creating resources for our weekly newsletter,  and subscription box line so experience using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and eps formats is a must!
  • Team player who doesn’t mind jumping into new situations and helping out in any capacity. We’re growing quickly and may need an extra set of hands here or there!
  • Exhibits qualities of warmth, hospitality, and professionalism. You’ll be representing our brand and that’s a big deal.
  • College student with a major related to design, marketing, entrepreneurship, communication or PR is preferred. However, students of any major or concentration are welcome to apply.
  • Bonus if you have experience with photography or light video work.

What To Expect if You Join Our Team:
This isn’t your standard 9-5 internship. We’ll need your help for a minimum of one evening each week, and you’ll be joining us at the office on Tuesdays for our weekly meeting but other than that you can make your own hours. This role would pair well with another part-time job - we don’t expect your project to take a full 40 hours each week, and we want your work to feel more like play!

Other things to expect:
Opportunity to be a central, visible part of a quickly growing start-up and the ability to have a voice and role in our growth.
A very small (but very fun!) team of people to work with.
More free classes and coffee than you knew you wanted.
Course credit (if applicable).

How to Apply
Send an email to natalia@leveluplou.com with the subject line “ Marketing/Design Intern Application: [Your Name],” attach a resume, and answer these three questions:

  1. What are you looking to gain from this internship?
  2. What do you think you would bring to the LevelUp team?
  3. What experience do you have that makes you a great fit for this role? We’d especially like to hear more about your major and how it could help you be a great addition to our team, regardless of what you’re studying.
