Basic Loom Knitting for Beginners
ABOUT THE CLASS:
While you can learn how to knit with needles or weave with a loom, there is an easy, efficient way to create all sorts of knit projects through a technique called Loom Knitting!
Knitting on a loom is easier on your hands and can speed up the process of creation. This skill can produce the same types of projects traditional knitting including intricate designs.
In this class, you will learn the basics of loom knitting. I will cover how to cast on to a loom, a pearl stitch (also known as a backward E stitch) which is the basis to all patterns, how to knit rows, to change from one color to another and how to cast off.
We will take our newly learned skills and apply them to creating a basic knitting pattern for a baby beanie! These are great for keeping, gifting, or donating! I donate mine to the local hospital NICUs.
Start with this beginner's class and in no time you will be creating Inta-worthy pieces from home!
