Handmade Fusilli with Spring Fling Flavors
ABOUT THE CLASS:
Grab your apron, it's time to make pasta from scratch!
Chef Sunshine Flagg of The Culture Club will walk us through how to make fresh pasta like a pro from start to finish.
In this class, online attendees will learn how to make fresh hand-made pasta from the safety of our own kitchens! We'll also create a sauce rich with spring flavors! By the end of this class, you'll have a delicious meal to eat and the knowledge to make fusilli from scratch again to share!
Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned chef join us for a great evening of learning, eating and fun!
MATERIALS STUDENTS WILL USE IN CLASS:
- 6-8 quart pot (large enough to boil 4 quarts water)
- Large mixing bowl
- Dry measuring cups
- Sheet Pan/Cookie Sheet
- Large saute pan or frying pan
- Liquid measuring cup
- Cutting Board
- Microplane or zesting utensil of your choice
- Can opener (if using beans)
- 4-6 skewers or chopsticks (to shape fusilli)
- Large slotted spoon
- The Ingredient list will be sent ahead of time to those who enrolled.
STUDENTS WILL TAKE HOME:
You'll be able to enjoy the fruit of your labor with a serving that will feed 4-6 people!
Minimum age requirement: 18 or older
Students must be prepared with the kitchen equipment and ingredient list. However, if you simply want to watch and take notes, you are welcome to!
